Terms and conditions

The Rentaskill service and network are operated by Rentaskilldirect cc and will be known as Rentaskill in this agreement. By accessing or using our website at www.rentaskill.net, www.rentaskill.info, www.rentaskill.co.za, www.rentaskilldirect.com, www.rentaskilldirect.biz, www.rentaskilldirect.info, or the mobile version thereof (together the Site) or by posting a Share Button on your site, you (the User) signify that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by this User Agreement whether or not you are a registered member of Rentaskill. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of this User Agreement at any time without further notice. If we do this, we will post the changes to this User Agreement on this page and will indicate at the top of this page the date these terms were last revised. Your continued use of the service or the Site after any such changes constitutes you acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to abide by this User Agreement,do not use or access (or continue to use or access) the Service or the Site. It is your responsibility to regularly check the Site to determine if there have been changes to these terms and to review such changes

Membership Eligibility
The Rentaskill Service is not available to minors under the age of 16 or to any users suspended or removed from the system by Rentaskill for any reason. Users may not have more than one active account. Additionally, users are prohibited from selling, trading, or otherwise transferring your Rentaskill account to another party. If you do not qualify, you may not use the Rentaskill Service.

Use of Service
Your use of the Rentaskill Service is governed by this User Agreement. Rentaskill may refuse service without prior notice to any user for any or no reason. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account with or without your knowledge. If you knowingly provide your login and password information to another person, your account privileges may be suspended temporarily or terminated. You agree to immediately notify Rentaskill of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security. Rentaskill cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

Terminations
You agree that Rentaskill may, with or without cause, immediately terminate your Rentaskill account and access to the Rentaskill Service without prior notice. Without limiting the aforegoing, the following will lead to a termination by Rentaskill of a user's use of the Rentaskill Service (a) breaches or violations of this User Agreement or other incorporated agreements or guidelines, (b) requests by law enforcement or other government agencies, (c) a request by you (self-initiated account deletions), (d) unexpected technical issues or problems, and (e) extended periods of inactivity. Termination of your Rentaskill account includes removal of access to all offerings within the Service and may also bar you from further use of the Rentaskill Service. Furthermore, you agree that any termination shall be made in Rentaskill's sole discretion and that Rentaskill shall not be liable to you nor any third-party for any termination of your account or access to the Rentaskill Service.

User Conduct
You understand and agree not to use Rentaskill to:
Post content or initiate communications which are unlawful, libelous, abusive, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Use the Rentaskill Service for any illegal purpose, including but not limited to conspiring to violate laws.
Falsely state, impersonate, or otherwise misrepresent your identity, including but not limited to the use of a pseudonym, or misrepresenting your current or previous positions and qualifications, or your affiliations with a person or entity, past or present.
Upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any content or initiate communications which include information that you do not have the right to disclose or make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as insider information, or proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements).
Upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any content or initiate communication that infringes upon patents, trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights or other proprietary rights.
Upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation. Upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
Stalk or harass anyone.
Forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any communication transmitted through the Rentaskill Service. Post content in fields that aren't intended for that content. Example: Putting an address in a name or title field. Interfere with or disrupt the Rentaskill Service or servers or networks connected to the Rentaskill Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Rentaskill Service.

Rentaskill Mobile Services
The Service includes certain services that are available via your mobile phone, including (i) the ability to upload content to Rentaskill via your mobile phone (Mobile Uploads), (ii) the ability to receive and reply to Rentaskill messages, (iii) the ability to browse Rentaskill from your mobile phone (Mobile Web), and (iv) the ability to access certain Rentaskill features through a mobile application you have downloaded and installed on your mobile phone (Mobile Client) (collectively the Mobile Services). We do charge for these Mobile Services and your service provider normal messaging, data and other rates and fees will still apply. You should check with your carrier to find out what plans are available and how much they cost. In addition, downloading, installing, or using certain Mobile Services may be prohibited or restricted by your carrier, and not all Mobile Services may work with all carriers or devices. Therefore, you should check with your carrier to find out if the Mobile Services are available for your mobile devices, and what restrictions, if any, may be applicable to use of such Mobile Services. By using the Mobile Services, you agree that we may communicate with you regarding Rentaskill and other entities by SMS, MMS, text message or other electronic means to you mobile device and that certain information about your usage of the Mobile Services may be communicated to us. In the event you change or deactivate your mobile telephone number, you agree to promptly update your Rentaskill account information to ensure that your messages are not sent to the person that acquires your old number.

International Use
Recognizing the global nature of the Internet, you agree to comply with all applicable local rules including but not limited to rules regarding online conduct and acceptable content. Specifically, you agree to comply with all applicable laws regarding the transmission of technical data exported to the country in which you reside.

Information Provided on this Website
In the course of using the Rentaskill Service, users may provide information about themselves which may be visible to certain other users (see our Privacy Policy to learn more about information collected on this website). You understand that by posting materials on the Rentaskill website or otherwise providing materials to Rentaskill, you are granting the Corporation a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use this information in the course of offering the Rentaskill service. Furthermore, you understand that Rentaskill retains the right to reformat, excerpt, or translate any materials submitted by you. You understand that all information publicly posted or privately transmitted through the Rentaskill Service is the sole responsibility of the person from which such content originated and that Rentaskill will not be liable for any errors or omissions in any content. You understand that Rentaskill cannot guarantee the identity of any other users with whom you may interact in the course of using the Rentaskill Service. Additionally, we cannot guarantee the authenticity of any data which users may provide about themselves or relationships they may describe. We care about the privacy of our users. By using the Site or the Service, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to and processed in South Africa or any other country Rentaskill has servers located or plans to place servers.

Access to Service

Use of manual or automated software, devices, or other processes to crawl or spider any web pages contained in the Rentaskill website is strictly prohibited. You agree not to monitor or copy, or allow others to monitor or copy, our web pages or the content included herein. You also agree not to frame or otherwise simulate the appearance or function of this website. Furthermore, you agree not to take any action that interferes with the proper working of or places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure, including but not limited to unsolicited communications, attempts to gain unauthorized access, or transmission or activation of computer viruses.

Rentaskill Communications
In the course of providing you services, Rentaskill may need to communicate with you via email (see our Privacy Policy to learn more about communications). You agree to receive emails which are specific to your account and necessary for the normal functioning of the Rentaskill Service. You also agree to have your name and/or email address and Skills listed in the header of certain communications which you initiate through the Rentaskill Service. When you use Rentaskill, you may set up your personal profile, form relationships, send messages, perform searches and Queries, form and join groups, and transmit information through various channels. We collect this information so that we can provide you the service and offer personalized features. In most cases, we retain it so that, for instance, you can return to view prior messages you have sent or easily see your friend/Client/Colleague list. When you update information, we usually keep a backup copy of the prior version for a reasonable period of time to enable reversion to the prior version of that information.
You post user content (as defined in this User Agreement) on the Site at your own risk. Although we allow you to set privacy options that limit access to your pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User content you post on the Site will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the site. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.
Any Improper collection or misuse of information provided on Rentaskill is a violation of the Rentaskill Terms of Service and should be reported to info@rentaskill.net
If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email or instant message inviting him or her to visit the site. Rentaskill stores information to send this one-time invitation, to register a friend/client/colleague or mentor connection if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at info@rentaskill.net to request that we remove this information from our database.
When you register with Rentaskill, you create your own profile and privacy settings. Your profile information, as well as your name, Skill, email, contact numbers and photos are and will be displayed to anyone visiting the Rentaskill site. We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new services offered by Rentaskill that we think you might find valuable.
Profile information is used by Rentaskill to be presented back to and edited by you when you access the service and to be presented to others permitted to view that information by your privacy settings. In some case where your privacy settings permit it, other Rentaskill users may be able to supplement your profile with comments or references for work done. Rentaskill will not be held liable for any loss or damage in any way whatsoever for any comment or reference left by third parties on your profile page or pages.
Profile information you submit to Rentaskill will be available to all users of Rentaskill. Your name, Skill/s, contact details, references, pictures and profile picture thumbnail will be available in search results across the Rentaskill network and may be made available to third party search engines. Rentaskill may send you service-related announcements from time to time through the general operation of the service. For instance, if a Friend/Client/Colleague or Mentor sends you a new message, quote request, mentor request or someone post a comment or reference on your profile you will receive a notification email. When you use Rentaskill, certain information you post or share with third parties (e.g., a friend/client/colleague/mentor or someone in your network), such information, comments, messages, photos, references or other information, may be shared with other users in accordance with the privacy settings you select. All such sharing of information is done at your own risk.
Please keep in mind that if you disclose personal information in your profile or when posting comments, messages, photos or other items, this information may become publicly available

Third Party Agreements
On the site any user can request a Mentorship from a skilled individual. If the Skilled individual accepts your Mentorship request he will teach you everything you need to know about his/her skill/s. The apprentice will work with the Mentor in exchange for his/her knowledge. The mentor can decide to pay the apprentice a small fee but that is entirely between the Mentor and Apprentice. The agreement between the Apprentice and Mentor is not governed by Rentaskill and going into an agreement with a Mentor or Apprentice is done at your own risk and Rentaskill will not be held responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever in any way.

Rentaskil is not involved with agreements between the service provider (The Skilled Individual) and the client (You). Renting, Using, Paying, interacting or contacting any User is done entirely at your own risk and Rentaskill will not be held responsible for any loss or damage in any way whatsoever.

Online Quote, invoicing and business card systems

Rentaskill, its affiliates and its sponsors are neither responsible nor liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, and punitive or other damages arising out of or relating in any way to your use of the Service. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using the Service.

It is your responsibility to make sure that the information entered into the online Quote, Invoicing system and business cards is correct and Rentaskill makes no warranties regarding (i) your ability to use the Service, (ii) your satisfaction with the Service, (iii) that the Service will be available at all times, uninterrupted, and error-free (iv), the accuracy of mathematical calculations performed by the Service, and (v) that bugs or errors in the Service will be corrected.

Monitoring and Enforcement
While we have the right to monitor activity and content associated with the Rentaskill Service, we are not obligated to do so. And since we do not, and may not have the ability to, control or actively monitor content we don't guarantee its accuracy, integrity or quality. Because community standards vary and individuals sometimes choose not to comply with our policies and practices, in the process of using our website, you may be exposed to content that you find offensive or objectionable. You can contact our Customer Service Department to let us know of content that you find objectionable. We may investigate the complaints and violations of our policies that come to our attention and may take any action that we believe is appropriate, including, but not limited to issuing warnings, removing the content or terminating accounts and/or subscriptions. However, because situations and interpretations vary, we also reserve the right not to take any action. Under no circumstances will we be liable in any way for any content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of, access to, or denial of access to any content on the website.

Fees
Signing up for a Rentaskill account is free. Rentaskill reserves the right to charge for the Rentaskill Service or any portion thereof, modify the pricing of, add to, or discontinue the Rentaskill Service or any portion thereof without prior notice.

Indemnification
By accepting this User Agreement, you agree to indemnify and otherwise hold harmless Rentaskill Corporation, its officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, affiliates and other partners from any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages resulting from i) your use of the Rentaskill Service; ii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your communications with or through the Rentaskill Service, or iii) any other matter relating to the Rentaskill Service. Any business transactions which may arise between users from their use of Rentaskill are the sole responsibility of the users involved. No one listed or advertising on the Rentaskill website are employed by Rentaskill.

Without limitation of the terms and conditions set forth in our Privacy Policy, you understand and agree that Rentaskill may disclose personally identifiable information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with legal process, enforce this User Agreement, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Rentaskill, its users, and the public.

Third Party Websites and Content
The Site contains (or you may be sent through the Site or the Service) links to other web sites (Third Party Sites) as well as articles, photographs, text, graphics, pictures, designs, information, applications, software and other content or items belonging to or originating from third parties (Third Party Applications, Software or Content). Such Third Party Sites and Third Party Applications, Software or Content are not investigated, monitored or checked for accuracy, appropriateness, or completeness by us, and we are not responsible for any Third Party Sites accessed through the Site or any Third Party Applications, Software or Content posted on, available through or installed from the Site, including the content, accuracy,

Offensiveness, opinions, reliability, privacy practices, or other policies of or contained in the Third Party Sites or the Third Party Applications, Software or Content. Inclusion of, linking to or permitting the use or installation of any Third Party Site or any Third Party Applications, Software or Content does not imply approval or endorsement thereof by us. If you do decide to leave the Site and access the Third Party Sites or to use or install any Third Party Applications, Software or Content, you do so at your own risk and you should be aware that our terms and policies no longer govern. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THE RENTASKILL SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' BASIS AND THAT RENTASKILL DOES NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROMPT OR PROPER DELIVERY, OR RETENTION OF ANY USER INFORMATION OR COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN USERS. RENTASKILL ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACCURACY OR EXISTENCE OF ANY COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN USERS. RENTASKILL EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
RENTASKILL MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT (i) THE RENTASKILL SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (ii) THE RENTASKILL SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, (iii) THE RESULTS THAT MAY BE OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE RENTASKILL SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, (iv) THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, INFORMATION, OR OTHER MATERIAL PURCHASED OR OBTAINED BY YOU THROUGH THE RENTASKILL SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS, AND (V) ANY ERRORS IN THE SOFTWARE WILL BE CORRECTED.
ANY MATERIAL DOWNLOADED OR OTHERWISE OBTAINED THROUGH THE USE OF THE RENTASKILL SERVICE IS DONE AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK AND THAT YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM OR LOSS OF DATA THAT RESULTS FROM THE DOWNLOAD OF ANY SUCH MATERIAL.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ACCORDINGLY, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Reference to any products, services, processes or other information, by trade name, trademark, manufacturer, and supplier or otherwise does not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation thereof, or any affiliation therewith.
RENTASKILL DOES NOT PRE-SCREEN OR APPROVE RENTASKILL PAGES, AND CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT A RENTASKILL PAGE WAS ACTUALLY CREATED AND IS BEING OPERATED BY THE INDIVIDUAL OR ENTITY THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF A RENTASKILL PAGE. NOR IS RENTASKILL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTENT OF ANY RENTASKILL PAGE, OR ANY TRANSACTIONS ENTERED INTO OR OTHER ACTIONS TAKEN ON OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY RENTASKILL PAGE, INCLUDING HOW THE OWNER OF THE RENTASKILL PAGE COLLECTS, HANDLES, USES AND / OR SHARES ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION IT MAY COLLECT FROM USERS (PLEASE REVIEW THE RENTASKILL PRIVACY POLICY IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS REGARDING THE USE OR SHARING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION). YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL BEFORE PROVIDING ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OR ENTERING INTO ANY TRANSACTION IN CONNECTION WITH A RENTASKILL PAGE.
IN ADDITION, RENTASKILL MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND AS TO THE RELIABILITY, IDENTITY, OR QUALITY OF ANY USER OR THIRD PARTY YOU MAY ENCOUNTER ON OUR WEBSITE, NOR DOES RENTASKILL MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES AS TO THE ACCURACY OF ANY POSTINGS MADE ON THE WEBSITE BY ANY USER.

Entire Agreement
This User Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Rentaskill and governs your use of the Rentaskill Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and Rentaskill.

Limitation of Liability
YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT RENTASKILL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF RENTASKILL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ACCORDINGLY, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN NO EVENT WILL RENTASKILL'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE DAMAGES EXCEED ZAR 100.

Governing Law
The User Agreement between you and Rentaskill Corporation will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa without regard to conflict of laws principles. General Information of Rentaskill, the Rentaskill logo, and other Rentaskill logos and names are trademarks of the Rentaskill Close Corporation. You agree not to display or use these trademarks in any manner without Rentaskill's prior, written permission. Information Collection

Registration:
In order to become a Rentaskill user, you must first create an account on this web site. To create an account you are required to provide the following contact information: name, email address, Province, Town, Contact number, Skills and choose a password.

Profile Information:

Providing additional information beyond what is required at registration is entirely optional, but enables you to better identify yourself and find new opportunities in the Rentaskill system. Information about your Contacts/colleagues/clients/friends In order to invite others to connect with you directly in Rentaskill, you will enter their names and email addresses. This information will be used by Rentaskill to send your invitation including a message that you write. The names and email addresses of people that you invite will be used only to send your invitation and reminders. You may also choose to manually enter or upload data about your contacts into the private My Friends/Colleagues/Clients section of our website. All information entered there will be available to the entire Rentaskill network. All information that you enter or upload about your contacts will be covered by the same terms of this privacy policy as cover your own personally identifiable information.

Cookies & Log Files:
Like most web sites, Rentaskill uses cookies and web log files to track site usage. Rentaskill Communications:
Rentaskill will communicate with you through sms and email and notices posted on this website. These include a series of up to five welcome emails which help inform new users about various features of the service. Please be aware that you will always receive certain emails from Rentaskill related to the proper functioning of your account, such as email notices when another user in your network sends you a message, Quote request, Friend/Colleague/Client/Mentor request, and leave a reference on your profile. Rentaskill may send you promotional information. Rentaskill will not be held responsible in any way whatsoever for any comment or reference left on your profile pages.
